According to a report from Nikkei, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 series could use Sony’s newest “state of the art” image sensors. The report says that this image sensor could help capture an image even with a strong backlighting.
Apple has been quite well settled with the cameras, they are the best you can get on any smartphone. Currently Apple uses image sensors developed by Sony, and they intend to use the new Sony’s “State of art” image sensors, which is the latest developed by Sony. It has new architecture design which enables more photodiodes, which can capture more light and reduce over exposure and underexposure, resulting in better and clearer photographs.
It is unknown if the newest sensor will be used across all the phones in iPhone 15 series or only be exclusive to the premium ones.
