Currently Apple uses image sensors developed by Sony, and they intend to use the new Sony’s “State of art” image sensors, which is the latest developed by Sony. It has new architecture design which enables more photodiodes, which can capture more light and reduce over exposure and underexposure, resulting in better and clearer photographs.
