Galaxy S23 may launch with limited colors

With the Pixel 7 launch out of the way, the technology industry is now focused on Samsung’s next flagship smartphone series: Galaxy S23. The smartphones in the new lineup are expected to be unveiled early next year. While we will see a big jump in the specifications, the latest leak suggests that Samsung may launch the Galaxy S23 series in a limited number of colors.

Display industry insider Ross Young answered questions related to the Galaxy S23 colors. He mentioned only four colors: Beige, Black, Green, and Light Pink. In contrast to this, Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 series in multiple colors, including Phantom White, Phantom Black, Green, Graphite, Gold, Cream, and even Red.

As far as the specifications of the Galaxy S23 are concerned, the entire series is expected to be powered exclusively by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ could sport the minimal camera design that we saw with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Both the vanilla and Plus models of the Galaxy S23 series are expected to get a bump in battery capacity and front camera capabilities.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the most exciting product in the entire lineup, will bring minor refinements to the design. It will feature a 200MP rear camera, and with Samsung’s tuning/computational photography, it could be one of the best camera phones of 2023. It is fairly early to dwell upon the limited color options, as Samsung might launch more colors a few months later.
