According to SamMobile, Samsung’s next Unpacked event will be the first in-person event since they were put on hold due to the covid pandemic. It is reported that the Galaxy S23 Unpacked event is going to take place in early February 2023 and the event will be held in San Fransisco.
Now the design hasn’t been leaked yet, but we can guess some specs, like the processor which is the latest gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which is said to be a decent upgrade over the previous gen processor. The design will be in the similar form, I think Samsung is now following the Apple trend regarding the design factor.
the cameras will be the main attraction of the S23 series, said to bring much bigger sensor which will capture more light. The image processing is also said to be improved in the S23 series. Samsung’s camera division has already developed 200mp camera sensors for other brands like Moto, so I hoped that Samsung would bring that to the S23 Ultra, but that’s not the case as it seems, Samsung is keeping the same 108mp with some minor tweaks.
Lets not focus on the camera too much, moving on to the display, which is going to be absolute blast, just on the Ultra. It is rumoured that the display pannel on the S23 Ultra has a peak brightness on 2000nits which is insane, I mean you can take the phone on a bright sunny day and enjoy Netflix on it, yeah it’s not the proper illustration of what the device can do, but 2000nits is nuts…
Battery capacity will be the same, all the improvement will be done with the software and the processor, which is rumoured to increase the battery backup by 10 percent. Not the case with Ultra though it will be having improved battery capacity as the 3D files suggest an improvement in thickness
Since the Galaxy S22 series was unveiled on February 9, 2022, it is possible for its successor to be launched in the claimed timeframe. What do you guys think about this?
