Even though Google’s Pixel Fold has repeatedly been leaked, we weren’t entirely certain of some of its characteristics. We anticipated that it would cost $1,799 and that it would ship around Google I/O in May. One more leak has now completely exposed the Pixel Fold, leaving no room for speculation.
This leak, which was provided by Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech (via 9to5Google), lists every specific specification you may anticipate for Google’s future foldable. Prosser begins by restating the pricing that he had previously covered. He said that at $1,799 with 256GB of storage, there will be two variations: Chalk and Obsidian. It will cost $1,919 to upgrade to 512GB of storage, and only the Obsidian model will be available. With a pre-order, you’ll also receive a Google Pixel Watch for free.
The Pixel Fold is one of the heaviest foldables, weighing 283g, and measuring 5.5 inches in height, 3.1 inches in width, and 0.5 inches in thickness. Unfolded dimensions are not yet available. With a 5.8-inch exterior display and a 7.6-inch inner display, both the outer and inner screens offer a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The inner display is an OLED 2208×1840, while the exterior panel has an OLED FHD resolution of 2092×1080. The inside display is covered by plastic-coated ultra-thin glass.

The Google Pixel Fold is rumoured to use the same Tensor G2 processor that was included with the Pixel 7 Pro, as well as UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. A 48MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a 10.8MP 5x optical telephoto camera with an f/3.05 aperture, and an ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 121.1-degree field of view are all included. A 9.5MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture powers the front selfie camera, while an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture powers the inside selfie camera.
This supports previous rumours suggesting that the camera system would differ from Google’s Pixel 7 Pro, as well as supporting display size requirements. We anticipate hearing more (officially) about Google I/O very soon!
