Microsoft Bing is now an “AI-powered co-pilot for the web,” delivering search results infused with information from ChatGPT and a new chat window that Microsoft says will help deliver travel advice, trivia games, as well as shopping lists and advice.
The company unveiled a new version of its search engine that adds the technology behind ChatGPT — an AI system for conversational and creative responses. This marks the first big change in years for Microsoft to push ahead of longtime search king Google.
In addition, the technology is also built into Microsoft’s Edge browser, making it able to perform tasks like summarizing PDFs and generating draft LinkedIn posts.
