Oppo will hold an event in China on March 21 and launch the Find X6 series, Oppo Pad 2 and other products. The Oppo Pad 2 is essentially an upgraded version of the still unavailable OnePlus Pad. Now it is assumed that the company’s latest tablet will also hit the global market on the same day. Check out the details below. The global launch of Oppo Pad 2 is expected tomorrow.
Insider Mukul Sharma believes that the global launch of the Oppo Pad 2 is slated for March 21. It will also reportedly come with a smart touch keyboard and stylus. If yes, you can expect Oppo Pad 2 to launch in India soon. However, there is no confirmation from Oppo yet. Oppo’s Weibo page previews what the Pad 2 will look like. It’s similar to the OnePlus Pad, with a big bump and rounded corners on the back of the camera. The only difference is the Oppo logo instead of the OnePlus logo.
In terms of specifications, you can expect something similar. It could feature an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD display with a metal build and a 144Hz refresh rate. You might have expected a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, but the Geekbench listing suggested a Snapdragon 888 SoC for the Oppo Pad 2. What actually happens remains to be seen.
You can also expect a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie shooter, a 9,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and a ColorOS 13 skin based on Android 13. You may have 4 speakers that support Dolby Atmos. We’re still waiting for official confirmation on this, so it’s best to take these details with a grain of salt and wait for the final announcement.
As for Oppo’s launch in China, we can expect a Find X6 with a Hasselblad camera and even the Oppo Enco Free 3 TWS headphones. The headphones come with a bamboo fiber diaphragm sound unit, ANC support and some interesting features.
The event is scheduled for 14:00 China time (11:30 IST). So stay tuned for further updates on this.
