Samsung has unveiled their newest lineup of premium phones: the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and S23 Ultra., at its Samsung Unpacked event in San Francisco.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra boasts a new 200 megapixel camera, includes an embedded S Pen2 that many long-time Samsung Galaxy users know and love and a special version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that’s been optimized for the new Galaxy S23 lineup.
With the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, Samsung is prioritizing practical improvements that could make daily tasks more convenient over sweeping changes. The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus bring a slew of upgrades, including larger batteries, better selfie cameras and a slightly updated design, while the Plus model also has twice as much storage.
The Galaxy S23 starts at $800 (about £645, AU$1,120), the Galaxy S23 Plus starts at $1,000 (about £800, AU$1,400) and the Galaxy S23 Ultra starts at $1,200 (about £975, AU$1,700).
The phones will be available in four nature-inspired matte
colors: phantom black, cream, green and lavender.
