S22 Ultra

Samsung S22 Ultra ticks every box

Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 series at yesterday’s event, and many tech reviewers also shared their reviews on the devices on Youtube many of them shared how the S22 is the best of all android But is it…

Many of the reviewers haven’t shared their views on the camera or the performance front just discussed the specs and their views on the looks of the device, particularly on the S22 Ultra…

Out of the series, S22 Ultra is one to get a major makeover, S22 and S22+ look the same. S22 Ultra is like the favorite kid of the class for now. And compared to other smartphones in the segment it packs some aggressive specs, but what surprises me is the starting Ram variant on the S22 Ultra, which starts off with 8GB in some regions which is kind of annoying at the price point and considering it an Ultra smartphone it should be packed with at least 12GB of Ram. Samsung responded that the Virtual RAM is the reason, but last year Samsung S21 Ultra was equipped with 12GB RAM for the same price, so I don’t think that’s an appropriate reason to give.

Let’s talk about the design which is the point of attraction, starting off with the squared-off corners, which just reminds of the Galaxy Note Note actually, it resembles a lot of the Note 20 Ultra, the display almost looks identical and the curved display also looks kinda similar. And on the back, it looks empty as the camera arrangement is the same as the S21 Ultra, just the bump is removed.

Moving to the camera’s it’s just insane, Samsung has killed the competition, it has got the epic 108mp camera, 10mp Telephoto lens, and 12mp Ultra-wide lens. The Camera is the same but Samsung has done a great job on the Optimization which just makes the images from the S22 Ultra look more accurate and capture more light, and also makes images more natural while the device is zoomed 30x and the same is the with the rest. The front-facing camera is 40mp which is also great.

The display is also an upgrade as the display on the S22 Ultra gets what is called LTPO 2.0 which enables the display to switch its refresh rate from 1hz-120hz according to the content you’re looking at, now this also makes the device more efficient while having the same capacity as last year which is 5000mAh, but now you can charge the device with a 45W charger which is of course not included in the Box due to environmental norms, and I totally don’t understand it 🙂

The device is powered by Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, depending on which region you live in. We know that 8 Gen 1 is a powerful processor but also gets hot with constant use. Now have to see how Exynos 2200 performs wait for the detailed review on the Exynos 2200 performance…

So that’s just what is up, for now, wait for a detailed review on the S22 Ultra and let me know if S22 Ultra was the device you were expecting…
