Apple has announced the next upcoming Apple event the World-Wide Developers Conference which will be held on 6th June…
What to expect from WWDC 2022?
- iOS 16
- iPadOS 16
- WatchOS 9
- MacOS 13
- TVOS 16
So most of it seems software-related, but still, some hardware-related releases are expected including new MacBook Air with a new M2 processor, which is still in rumors though.
Just like every year, iOS 16 will be introduced at this WWDC event, but unlike last year, this year there won’t be many upgrades on the experience front, the update will be mainly related to security, so the excitement is kinda low for the iOS 16, stay tuned as we are going to share some articles on the first impression of the iOS 16. iPadOS is also the same as the iOS with minor tweaks and upgrades to the in-house apps like the health, messaging, and services apps so not much to be explained at this point.
Now WatchOS will be getting some cool new features and some very useful features, like the new upcoming power saving mode which improves the overall battery life, and then the Reserve Power mode which will limit the watch just to show the time.
WatchOS 9 will also bring new watch faces along with more workout modes related to running which will definitely improve the overall experience…
MacOS 13 is all along is rumored to be named MacOS Mammoth as MacOS versions are named after the landmarks in California and Mammoth is kinda active right now…
There also will be a handful of upgrades on the feature side and we might see some iOS connectivity features…
Revamped System Preferences app that’s similar to the Settings app on iPhone and iPad with individual settings organized by app.
Redesigns for default apps like Messages, Mail, Notes, and Safari.
Social network-like functionality for the Messages app, with a specific focus on audio messages.
Possible dedicated classical music app.
There is no news on the TVOS 16 stay tuned for that…
